AI MEDIA LAB

Designed to incorporate coding, mathematics, art, and science, the AI Media Lab will house a state-of-the-art, 270-degree optical tracking system to detect movement throughout the room. The lab’s three advanced computer systems will use a process known as digital visualization to translate the captured movement into scientific data.

Visitors will be able to display and interact with the translated movement through a variety of ways, such as using advanced coding and using knobs and buttons to control visual output on the computers. In order to function properly, the lab will be designed as a kind of dark room, with no windows and black walls. Seating will be limited to benches placed along the perimeter of the room to encourage participants to move around freely.
