MULTIDISCIPLINARY LAB

The sharing of ideas and resources across disciplines allows people to understand how different areas of science intersect and consequently expand their scientific knowledge. The Mlab offers participants the opportunity to explore the interplay of chemistry, biology, physics, and many other science fields through experimentation and interdisciplinary research.

​In order to conduct experiments in a safe environment, this space is comprised of two rooms—a preparation room and a lab—connected through a series of sliding windows. The fully-equipped preparation room is designed for the storing and handling of special (and, in some cases, hazardous) materials, while the larger lab will be outfitted with standard lab equipment and tools for students to run experiments.
