Celebrating nature and biodiversity, the EARTH area sheds light on a variety of processes in nature involved in the transfer and balance of energy.

The treehouse design welcomes climbing and playing while accentuating the interaction between humans and nature with bridges, ropes and recycled materials.

A low-maintenance pond is embedded into the natural landscape to provide food, shelter, and safety for wildlife. The pond comprises different zones, including a wetland and a lower and deeper pool.

Construction includes the use of robust and environmentally friendly materials. The bamboo gateway represents a natural, sustainable and durable approach to green solid building material.

Sensors can be used to measure biotic and abiotic conditions in different areas in addition to visitors making decisions involving sustainability and composting.

Different exhibits are placed throughout the landscape including nesting boxes, feeding stations, transparent beehive structures, and a barefoot trail.
