This giant kaleidoscope’s multiple reflective surfaces and different combinations of color and light make each journey through it a new and unique experience of patterns and possibilities. Use interactive props and digital devises to manipulate light and play with reflection in all sorts of ways.

The life-size kaleidoscope is comprised of a 12M long shipping container connected to a 2 story vertical tower. The colorful windows take advantage of the natural light which enhances and continuously changes the visual experience.

The tower contains two separate floors each featuring additional interactive lights and screens. Visitors can enter through the ground floor or walk up the outdoor staircase to reach the second floor of the tower.

The walk-though tunnel of the kaleidoscope is comprised of laser cut mirror-polished stainless steel sheets assembled in an origami-like fashion. The choice of stainless steel was based on the ability to drill holes for attachment and light, another important tool in creating endless shapes and patterns.

The top floor of the tower will feature a hanging movable installation made of mirrors in the shape of a flower.

A collection of interactive movable props will be placed throughout the kaleidoscope space to allow visitors to explore and experiment with reflection and patterns.
